Yea. I searched topics, but only found Spiral Pierce builds...and don't really understand why I would need a large supply of Dex...so...what's a good build? :heh: Thanks.

Eww....you nab. You want 110 str, 40 agi, 40 int, 50-70 vit, rest dex, which is about 40-50 dex.

Because they're giving you a pierce build, as per your topic title says.

Since it seems you want a newb spiral pierce build instead of pierce, vit/dex, that's all.... The dex is for hit, cast time.

As for a "pierce" build requiing agi and dex, well, agi is for aspd and to be able to chain pierce faster, dex well, duh.

still too much str not enough agi, int is off balance, too much dex too in my mind

str : 90-100
agi: 60 ish
vit: 60-70
dex: 30-40
res on int if anything is left~

pierce is agi based
(i suggest u get a double minorous ( +15% on large) haliberd, pierce > on big monsters then small)

Why the heck would you want agi for pierce....You don't really need aspd to pierce fast and with 60 agi your flee will be lame...I'd just go with 100 str 70 vit 50 dex 24/32 int and rest in w/e you like....

no, its not bugged,
@ the guy i quoted about this 1: btw its not for flee u retard, its for attack speed, it practically tripples the rate u attack at then if u had no agi, knights have enough vit to take the hit.

You can start to wonder why no spear knight has agi on officials. With 110 str unbuffed/120 buffed you'll kill fast enough NOT to need aspd and you can always have a priest on another acc ot heal self anyway....

And btw..listen to DarkWing's advice....I'm just doing this to annoy him.....

30-40 dex? Gonna be a lot of misses. 50 dex min. You'll need at least a double digit for int.

Spear knights on official DO have agi. They're called hybrids.

Weird build but works fine for me(this is with +'s):

60 vit
60ish agi
20-40 int (depends on where you're lvling)
40-50 dex
everything else goes to str

With this build you should be able to last quite a while without having to sit/use pots.
For me goats take about 2-3 seconds each(or at least something close to that) and with a lvl 85 knight I hit 3.5-4.5k (with ice lance of course)

you don't need a LOT of dex to hit with pierce, y'know. it adds 50% hitrate already, and even without this 40 dex should do it.

No it doesn't. Trust me I know. Pierce DOES NOT add 50% to hit rate. It adds +50 to hit. With 40 dex you'll see a lot of red misses against stuff like jokers. 50 min.

I had about 40 dex and hardly ever missed with pierce. I was mostly killing High Orcs though, I dunno where you train your knights, but I did alright.

Just thought i'd point that out

I've got lots of knight friends on officials who could give their life to ensure it's 50% hit :/
that's y knights usually aim for around 67% hit when choosing weaponry against high flee chars.
