while i train i see hunters and snipers doing almost 4k per Double Straf.
i know what cards they use i dont know what WEAPON they are using...
i heard some of them use +7 and up crossbows and w/e

also i ppl use ulle's cap or tights and stuff
not sure what cards they use in those

please help ^^

Assuming their Dex is high, a +10 Composite Bow[4] with the right cards will give the best damage output. Some settle for a slightly inferior Gakkung[2] since it only needs two cards. A decent Gakkung is +7 or better. Crossbows usually fall somewhere in between, but they're not as common since the damage isn't quite as good as a Composite Bow, and it needs one more card than the Gakkung.

The rest of their equiment entirely depends on what kind of Hunters they are. Pure Agi/Dex types might go with a Nightmate Card in the Ulle's for +1 Agi, and a Rocker Card in the Tights for +1 Dex. Personally I prefer Pecopeco in Armor.

im gonna go with the composite bow
and im gonna add in archer skeleton cards and stuff

gotta save up for some cash for the cards
im gonna hunt for the bow.

o and i also have another question...
when you upgrade the weapon
by having a lot of dex and luck would that help stop your weapon from braking when it is past the upgrading limit?

*by the way* i killed one archer goblin and it dropped the composite bow [4] ROFL XD

No, you can't change Holl's refine chance.
I can get you a chart of the percentages if you want it.
Job Lv. 70 WS however, has a 10% better change of +10'ing weapons then Holl though.

-you need to get that [4] comp +10 before it's even worth considering putting cards in.

That's not fair, I've bought/hunted hundreds of MGs and none of them got to +9.

cross bow is rare case, i would say use that when you training your archer
if you talking about sniper with 130+ dex, a comp bow is best

you use whatever gears you like. unless you talking about pvp, then you do need unfrozen/ed. get raydric garment and/or Noxious garment.
